Uros Islands Taquile Island and Amantani Island

Departure begins from Puno Port where a boat will transport participants to the first destination the Uros Islands.

The Uros people are descendants of the Aymara and reside on artificial floating islands a practice that has persisted from pre-Inca and Inca periods to the present day.

Historically the Uros people engaged in bird and fish hunting egg collection and limited agriculture. Currently tourism is a primary economic activity contributing to the preservation of their cultural heritage. Wow this place is something else
